Fenugreek Seed laddus Recipe Ingredients / Methi Ladoo Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 kg Semolina (Soji)
  • 50 gm Fenugreek
  • 1/2 kg Jaggery
  • 2 Coconuts
  • 5 cardamom
  • 1/2 kg ghee
  • Finely chopped dry foods (almonds, cashew, pistachios)
  • Salt to taste
  • Little sugar

Methi Ladoo recipe / Fenugreek Seeds Laddu Recipe

  1. Fry Semolina (soji) in 1/4 kg of ghee on low heat.
  2. Take coconut and crushed it.
  3. Finely chop the Jaggery.
  4. Grind cardamom with a little sugar in the grinder.
  5. Heat half a kilo of ghee in the vessel.
  6. After that put some chopped dry foods in it and stir it for 3 minutes.
  7. Then add fenugreek powder and stir.
  8. Then add the crushed coconut and keep stirring for 5 minutes on low flame.
  9. After that add coconut water, Jaggery and cardamom powder and let it cook on low flame (till the jaggery melts)
  10. Now add Semolina (soji) and mix it well.
  11. Then place the tawa under the pot and let it cook on low flame.
  12. After 5 minutes, stir it again with a spoon. .
  13. Cover the pot again and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  14. After 5 minut turn off the gas 
  15. And take down the vessel.
  16. And let the mixture cool slightly.
  17. Take a little of that mixture in your hand and give it a round of ladoos.
  18. In this way make ladoos of the whole mixture.
  19. Keep the ladoos on a plate and dry it well.
  20. After that put them in a airtight jar.
